Terms of use

Who can use Rally

• You must be 18 or older.
• One account per person, in your own name. Don't sign up for someone else or pretend to be someone you're not.
• Keep your login to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.

What Rally does and doesn't do

• Rally helps tennis players in Greater Victoria find each other and arrange games.
• We don't run the games, check who players are, or supervise what happens on or off the court. Levels are self-rated.
• Courts belong to the cities, districts, schools and clubs that run them. Their rules, hours, fees and bookings apply, and their own websites have the final word. Court details in Rally can be out of date.

You play at your own risk

• Tennis is a physical sport. You decide whether you're fit to play, and you're responsible for your own safety and your own things.
• Meet at the court, tell someone where you're going, and trust your instincts. Our safety tips have more.
• As far as the law allows, Rally isn't responsible for injuries, lost or damaged property, court bookings or fees, or how other players behave.

Be a good member

• Follow the community guidelines: be respectful, show up or say so, and no harassment, spam or selling.
• Only post things you have the right to share, and never post someone else's personal information.
• Don't misuse Rally: no fake or automated accounts, no collecting other players' details, and no attempts to break in or break things.

Your content

• You own what you post, like your profile, photo and messages. You let Rally store it and show it to other players so the app can work.
• We may take down anything that breaks these terms or the guidelines.

When we can remove an account

• We may warn you or remove your account if you break these terms or the guidelines, or if we believe you've put other players at risk. A removed account's email can't be used to join again.
• You can delete your account any time in Settings.

Rally is free and comes as is

• Rally is free to use. We can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, and we may change or stop features.
• As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses that come from using Rally or from meeting people through it.

Your privacy

The privacy policy explains what we collect, where it's kept and how to delete it.

Changes

If we make an important change to these terms, we'll tell you in the app before it applies. Using Rally after that means you accept the new terms.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and of Canada.
